Julian 4th of July Parade Entry Form

Parade Information: All participants must complete the entire parade route, without stopping. At the end of the parade route, please follow the directions of the parade staff who will be there to assist you. For your safety and the safety of those in the parade and observing, please note the following:

  • Reverse traffic against the parade while it is underway will not be allowed.
  • As you complete the parade, you will be free to leave the area, with the exception of traveling back down Main Street until the parade is over. If necessary, you will be directed to a post parade staging area until all entries have completed the parade route. Parade staff will be there to assist you.
  • A portion of Main Street between Hwy 78/79 and C Street will be closed to through traffic at 9:00 am.
Entries will not be processed without all required fields.

Parade Agreement:
  • Entries must be in the staging area in the Julian Elementary School parking lot by 10 am. Entries are judged from 10-11 am. You must be present and your number must be displayed. 
  • The use of alcoholic beverages in the staging area, parade and dispersing area before, during and after the parade is prohibited. 
  • Due to liability, the throwing of any objects from any entry - such as candy, streamers, etc., is prohibited. If you wish to pass out such items, please assign someone from your group to march along the side of the parade route and hand out items individually from a basket or container. 
  • No vehicles are to be driven in the staging area, parade or dispersing area by an unlicensed or uninsured driver. Vehicles that are not part of the parade are not allowed in the staging area.
  • Entries must not stop during the parade. EVER! If you impede the flow of the parade, you will be banned from the parade for the following year. 
I hereby enter the Julian Independence Day Parade at my own risk and consent to the rules and regulations of The Julian 4th of July Parade, Inc. I further agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Julian 4th of July Parade, Inc., its members, other persons, or entities associated with the parade against legal proceedings for any personal injury or property damage arising, occasioned by or caused by, any employee, representative or my personal entry.
