On this form students may register for the Math Contests offered this school year. In general, students write the contests for the grade they are in, not their Math course level.
In order to write a contest above grade level, permission is required from the Math Department.
IF YOU DO NOT ATTEND A CONTEST YOU HAVE REQUESTED, THE MATH DEPARTMENT WILL REQUEST THAT YOU PAY THE CONTEST FEE WHICH HAS BEEN WASTED.

CISC/CMSC: ONE OF THESE ONLY
The first Waterloo contest of the year, 2 hours in length, on November 22. The CISC (Intermediate) is for Grade 9 and 10's; the CSMC (Senior) is for Grade 11 and 12's. This is the November contest most contest participants should pick.

Yes, this is the contest all Grade 9, 10 and 11's should write. PASCAL - Grade 9 students; CAYLEY - Grade 10 students; FERMAT - Grade 11 students. One hour long, February 27
The grade 12 contest. For grade 12's and very strong grade 11's. 2.5 hours on April 12.
The grade 8 contest. One hour on May 16.
