Fees for Participation
The fees are kept low in the hopes that everyone can participate. Fees are due at the time of submitting your online registration. If you prefer not to pay online, please remember to bring them to the first rehearsal. We have a limited number of adults in RVSO. These adults must either be a parent of a current student or fill a vacant position that is not currently filled by a student.
RVSO Emphasizes Excellence and Service
Rosedale Valley String Orchestra is a Christian youth orchestra dedicated to educating and training young string players in the art of orchestral playing. In addition, several of our concerts each year are dedicated to raising funds for various mission projects overseas – usually involving children and orphanages in Africa. Each year we partner with ‘A Better World’, a non-profit aid organization run and supported by volunteers and churches from all over Central Alberta. It is hoped that involving our youth in humanitarian work at a young age, our children will enter the world as empowered, caring and sensitive adults who not only understand how the rest of the world lives but know how to make a difference.
