Team Leader Interest Form
Thank you for your interest in being a Team Leader at our event. This role is critical to the success of our event. These positions are for people who are self motivated with a managerial presence. We are looking for people who have exceptional attitude, a strong work ethic, and LOVE JBF!
Team Leaders must be able to commit a MINIMUM of 16-20 hours at the event. (extra if you are a Power consignor) Double credit for breakdown does not count towards team lead status- we need you to be physically present (because we need you!) It is not about just putting in the minimum hours, its about being there when we need you. You must be flexible (as we will be too because we understand life happens and family comes 1st.) Being a Team lead is about being a Team Player. (Ie- If we are super busy and your shift is over, you stay if you can until it calms down.) You must be able to take charge and tell other volunteers what to do. Take initiative and make executive decisions that is best for the sale. You must be there on Sunday for breakdown. Most Team leads are at the sale almost everyday. Team Leaders are the first to shop and earn 80% of their sales, get the earlier pre-sale pass, a JBF T-Shirt and their consignor fee waived. In order to qualify to become a Team Lead you must have helped out at a prior JBF event.
Please list your availability to the best of your ability- don't worry, it's not written in stone!! A minimum of 4 hours during drop off on Thursday and breakdown on Sunday from 1-6pm is required. If you are accepted, we will be scheduling your times based on what you list below. We will work with you and your schedule but you will be expected to be at the sale for a minimum of 16-20 hours.

What area of the sale is of most interest to you? We would like to start doing Zone Drop off Stations at Drop off on Thursday and need a volunteer or 2 to be in charge at each station.

ex: can't help on Monday or not available M-F from 9-5 due to job) not specific - just need an idea- most important days are thursday drop off, friday presale and sunday breakdown. Please let us know if you are able to be there on Thurs. for drop off from 12-8ish.
