Liverpool University Beginner/Senior Virtual Head
In the absence of many races this season, Liverpool University Boat Club will be hosting a Virtual Head race to close off the year.
This event is 100% virtual and participants can erg in their own home with their own erg. The competitors need only a Rowing Machine, USB (V2) A-to-B Cable, a Windows laptop/tablet and a stable internet connection.
This Virtual Race also allows clubs to enter rowers in crew sizes of either Single, Doubles or Quads and the app will work out the average splits of that crew. Each event also has a Weight Corrected category.
A demo can be found here-
Crews do not need to be in the same location during the race so please ensure all Government/BR Rules are followed during the race.
The Senior event is 5,000m long and will be on Saturday 12th December - A way for senior rowers to see how they come up against other rowers and to get an up-to-date 5k test time.
The Beginner event is 1,500m long and will be held Sunday 13th December - An excellent first race experience and a great way to see how your novices compare against other Universities.
Clubs should view beginners are members who joined at the start of the current season (Around August onwards).
This is the Crew submission form for the event. Please select below which day you are entering for. If you intend to enter in both days, then you will have to complete a form for each.
This event is completely free, but we ask participants to donate to a charity of their choice! Please tag us in a social media post so we can see!
Medals will be awarded to the winner of each category and shipped to your club.
We reserve the right to make events time only if a category is uncontested.
