Texas A&M System Teaching with Artificial Intelligence Course Interest Form
The Council on Academic Technology & Innovative Education (CATIE), in partnership with the A&M System Office of Academic Affairs, is delighted to offer an additional professional development opportunity for you to expand your skills in artificial intelligence (AI) literacy and implementation. This opportunity is designed for up to 400 faculty members from TAMU to take Teaching with Artificial Intelligence, a course developed for higher education faculty by Auburn University. 

The Canvas course contains 8 modules focused on AI topics including: (1) Introductory concepts and terms, (2) Ethical considerations, (3) The impact on learning and teaching, (4) Student tool use and partnerships, (5) Rethinking assessment, (6) Course design/re-design, (7) Preparing for future tools and capabilities, (8) Engaging in conversations in departments and academic programs.

There is currently a cohort of 175 TAMU faculty members and staff participating in the Auburn course, sponsored by the Center for Teaching Excellence and Office of the Provost. Completion time ranges from approximately 40 to 80 minutes per module.
