Kokanee experts David Kyle of Trout Unlimited and Dr. Jeffrey Jensen, University of Washington, Bothell, will present a progress report on native kokanee salmon restoration in Lake Sammamish, the recent discovery that native kokanee are still found in Lake Washington, and the potential for restoring native kokanee to small stream tributaries of Lake Washington. Could Coal Creek be a future home for our native “Little red fish"?
