The Brent Creative Enterprise Zone Programme is offered to resident creatives and artists. These workshops are designed to help you develop your professional and business skills and opportunities.Â
Why take part?
Are you facing challenges in your creative business or career? Want to strengthen your skills and get practical support? If so, this is chance to take time to focus on finding solutions. Take time to grow, improve, and focus on your creative work or business.
Who should attend?
Open to Brent based residents, artists and creative professionals with an aspiring, emerging or established practice or small business, including (but not limited to) freelancers, sole traders, and creative businesses.
What support is on offer?
1. Introduction to Curation workshop (IN PERSON) @ Picture PalaceÂ
Sunday 12th April || 2pm – 4pmÂ
Learn key stages of developing an exhibition: Artist selection to installation and public engagement Creative, organisational, and critical aspects of curating and realities of working with artists, venues, and audiences. Sign up for this workshop here: Link2. Crowdfunding for Creatives (ONLINE)Â
Tuesday April 14th || 10am-11.30amÂ
An introduction to how the Crowdfunder process works and what steps and preparation is required to launch an effective campaign.
3. Tax and Accounting for creative freelancers and self-employed (ONLINE)
Wednesday April 22nd || 6pm-7pmÂ
Get up to date insights tips and tax/accounting advice to support your financial ‘housekeeping’ ready for 2026.
4. Group and 1:1 Tax and Accounting support (ONLINE)
For those that take part in the online webinars – 1:1 and Group sessions will be available, to hone in your tax queries and needs.
5. Networking for Creatives DATE TBC (IN PERSON)
Learn and share what creative collaborations are happening, learn about local networks and network with other local creatives.

6. OPEN CALL: Tracing Brent Exhibition – (Submission Deadline April 19th)
This exhibition aims to showcase the diverse talent in Brent of up to ten local emerging, aspiring and established artists. The exhibition will feature work that becomes part of a shared act of remembering and re-envisioning how time, place, and culture are understood.
