The On-Site Electric Vehicle (EV) Training Workshop is a NO-COST opportunity for
high school juniors and seniors to experience the fundamentals of a career in electrification.
The workshop focuses on providing students with a brief description of jobs in the electric vehicle industry and the duties of the occupation along with the credentials needed for the occupation, including education, training, certification, or licensure.
This is a one-day workshop in person at the Crestview Terrace Community Room located at 575 E. Baseline Street in San Bernardino. Students will attend workshops on EV careers, as well as increasing opportunities for post high school electrification career, networking and other career readiness skills.
All participants will receive a completion certificate at the end of the workshop and will be eligible for our CARB student paid internship program.

Eligibility:
- Current Junior or Senior in High School
- 2.5 G.P.A. or higher
- Reside/ attend school in the City of San Bernardino
- Must attend Jan. 25 Virtual Pre-Training (make-up date available, must complete before Feb. 4)
Special Considerations:
- First Generation Student (Parents did not complete a 4-year college or University Degree)
- Low Income Household
- Youth in Foster Care
- Youth Experiencing Homelessness
- Unaccompanied Minor (Minor not living with either parent)
