The Currituck Extension Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the charitable and educational efforts of the Currituck County Extension center and its affiliated groups in improving the quality of life through research-based education and programs for Currituck residents.

Since 2015, we have been actively involved in administering the Currituck 4-H Backpacks for kids weekend feeding program for needy elementary students in all of Currituck's elementary schools. The organization provides scholarship support to youth and adults to participate in local, state, and national educational conferences and camps. CEF also provides short term loans for participants in 4-H entrepreneurship programs. The organization additionally provides mini grants to staff of the Currituck Extension Center to develop innovative programs that target community well-being.
