Political Science Colloquium Application (LATE APPLICATION)
NOTE: The application deadline for Fall 2017 classes has passed! If you are trying to submit a late colloquium, make sure to email polsci@barnard.edu to notify us that you are submitting a late application.

APPLICATIONS ARE DUE DURING THE SEMESTER PRIOR TO TAKING THE COLLOQUIUM.
Enrollment is limited to sixteen students in order to guarantee students a small class. Placements will be announced via email within two weeks of the application due date. Be sure to attend the first class session to secure your place in the course. See also http://polisci.barnard.edu/colloquia for additional detail.
Every Political Science major must take three colloquia. Students can take no more than two of the three required colloquia with the same Barnard instructor. Priority is given to Barnard political science majors with seniors receiving top priority and then juniors. Colloquia are not suitable for first-year students. Sophomores will be admitted as room permits at the discretion of the instructor. You must have successfully completed the prerequisite (please list below). A third colloquium taken with the same instructor will receive political science elective credit only. When making your colloquium selection, please keep in mind that it is to your benefit to choose one in the field of your anticipated senior essay topic.
