The Morton and Linda Rosenberg Scholarship, 2023-2024
The purpose of this Fund is to provide scholarships to Ball State University students in accordance with the following preferences:
  1. Sophomores, juniors, or seniors pursuing a major within the Department of History
  2. A GPA of between 2.75 and 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and
  3. First preference will be given to students who are engaged in extracurricular activities such as student government and volunteer work in the community.

Eligibility: Eligible for undergraduate assistance are sophomore, junior or senior students who are majoring in History or Social Studies Education. Students must have an overall GPA of between 2.75 and 3.25 on a 4.0 scale. Selection and Notification: Decisions awarding assistance and determining the form and amount of aid are made by the Merit and Scholarship Committee of the Department of History after careful evaluation of all applications. All applicants will be notified as soon as possible of the Committee’s decision(s).

Names and email addresses of two faculty members in the History Department acquainted with your academic work, and who you have asked to write a letter of recommendation in support of your application. These two History faculty members should send their letters of recommendation to the Administrative Coordinator before February 28 at midnight.
