April 2023 Natural Mystery
This month's Natural Mystery comes from Las Padres National Forest in Ventura County, California. The photo was taken on a dirt road next to a sandy wash at an elevation of about 1500'. It shows questions 6 & 7 from the Cyuama Track & Sign Specialist Eval that took place April 1 & 2. The questions are "Who & Which Foot." An ideal answer will identify both the species, and which foot of four left this track. Please also describe your process, and explain how you eliminated other possibilities.
