A Level Centre Assessed Grades (CAGs) Appeals Policy, 'Validated Mock Grades' and Procedure
All Bay House School Sixth Form students were awarded calculated grades in A levels this summer, giving them the opportunity to move on to further study or employment, despite the cancellation of exams.

However students will be able to appeal through this form if they believe the process this summer was not followed correctly in their case.

Pupils or students who would like to use a 'valid mock result' will be able to do so through the appeals process, with individuals notifying their school who will provide evidence of their mock results to their exam board.

Ofqual have confirmed that any pupil or student unable to receive a calculated result, and others who would like to improve their grades, will have an opportunity to take the full suite of A level exams in the autumn. Details will be published shortly.

I understand that Bay House Sixth Form will have seen adjustment, in at least one subject, to their centre assessment grades, however carefully they have made their judgements. These adjustments are beyond the control of the school and are made by Ofqual to ensure that, as far as possible, that individual schools have not been too severe or too generous in comparison with other schools or colleges.
