Are you interested in writing and not sure what to do to publish and promote your stories? Do you get stuck in your head and not sure how to put the stories on to paper? Are you over 16? If so, this workshop might be for you. The workshops will help you gain confidence in your writing, working alongside editors, authors, promoters etc. to get to your end goal, releasing a story or poem for others to read. Local authors will also be joining us at the workshops to let you know how they managed to get seen by publishers and how you can do the same. We well also work with indie authors to let you know how to do it all yourself without a publisher.
This form has been created for you to express your interest in being part of a creative writing workshop. The workshop will be over 12 months with different topics covered each month face to face, and online exercises and tasks to complete in between. The end goal would be to produce a piece of work, be that a story or a poem to put into a book, (more information to follow). The sessions will be held in a safe space provided by Barnsley Pride, in Barnsley and will be held in an evening.
