I never intended to sell to begin with (or preferred to give as a gift to someone I knew)

If you have the time feel free to explain what you did or did not like about the process of buying/selling skis. For example, for me it was hard to find good skis for my skillset as well as boots for my feet that fit well. It was also unclear how to value my skis or negotiate for a good price since I'd never done it before. For you it may be different.
