CSforAll Consortium: Request for Proposals - Research Based Practices in CS Education
Together with CSTeachingTips, the CSforAll Consortium seeks proposals for the production of two-page synthesis documents. These synthesis documents should be written for a school district administrator or computer science teacher and focus on a research-supported practice related to K-12 CS Education. To be clear, these documents should NOT be a research paper, but instead a translation of research into actionable steps or activities that districts, schools, or teachers can take to advance the goals of CSforAll; to provide high quality CS education to every student in the United States.

These documents will be funded as consulting projects. If accepted, CSforAll and CSTeachingTips will pay $1,000 to the proposer in order to produce the two-page synthesis document. Proposals will be evaluated by Leigh Ann DeLyser (Co-Chair, CSforAll Consortium) and Colleen Lewis (PI, CS Teaching Tips). The proposals will be judged based upon: (1) Their representation of a research-supported practice, (2) the relationship to K-12 CS Education, and (3) the potential usefulness for administrators or computer science teachers in implementing CSforAll.

By completing this form you are providing information that will be protected under the CSforAll Consortium's privacy policy. We reserve the right to share information about the proposals in aggregate or without the proposer's name attached.

If awarded, we anticipate this will be an iterative process involving a review of the final document by at least one education association member of the CSforAll consortium in order to provide feedback for any appropriate edits.

Please note - the work described in the two-page synthesis document does not need to be the work of the person proposing to author the document. It is expected, however, that citations and attributions will be provided in the write up.
