WPATH 2022 Election Nominating Committee Member-at-Large - Application Form
 
Dear WPATH Members:

The WPATH Board of Directors is excited to announce a Call for Nominations for the three (3) WPATH Member-at-Large positions available on the WPATH 2022 Election Nominating Committee. The Nominating Committee has two main tasks:

1. Select the President-Elect, Secretary, and Treasurer who will appear on the ballot for the WPATH 2022 Election.

2. Ensure that the candidates who are nominated for Member-at-Large positions on the board of directors fulfill the criteria for these positions prior to being placed on the WPATH 2022 Election ballot

As previously done in the WPATH 2020 Election, the 2022 Nominating Committee will consist of the following members:

• Immediate Past President (Chair): Vin Tangpricha, MD
• Additional Past President (to be selected by anonymous BOD vote)
• 2 Current BOD Members (to be selected by anonymous BOD vote)
• 3 Additional Full WPATH Members-at-Large (selected by Membership vote)

Applicants for the Nominating Committee must be WPATH members in good standing for at least 5 consecutive years (paid member dues in 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022), cannot be under disciplinary action by a university, hospital or professional society, and may not run for any position in the WPATH 2022 Election.

If you are interested in applying, you must arrange to have another WPATH member submit a letter of recommendation via email to wpath@wpath.org in addition to completing this online application form.

All applicants that meet the criteria above and submit their online application form and letter of recommendation will be placed on the ballot for the 3 positions; the 3 members receiving the largest number of votes will take their seats on the 2022 Election Nominating Committee.

The deadline to apply for the Member-at-large positions is Sunday, June 12, 2022, at 11:59pm Eastern Standard Time.

- WPATH Nominations Committee members shall act in accordance with the ethical standards set by professional specialty associations or other professional societies where they hold certification or membership. If you are currently under disciplinary action by your college or professional society, you are ineligible to apply.

- All communication on the WPATH Nominations Committee is in English; it is important to have strong written and oral English language skills.

- All information supplied, with the exception of email address, will be presented on the official ballot for the WPATH 2022 Election Nominating Committee Member-at-Large.
