The participation and talent of our dynamic membership is vital to AAHOA's success. If you want to make a difference for AAHOA members and the hospitality community, we encourage you to apply to serve on an AAHOA committee.
Eligible applicants are current AAHOA members with continuous membership for at least two (2) years. For example, to serve during the 2018-2019 term, you must have been a paid member for 2017 and 2018. Applications will be reviewed in the month prior to convention.

Each regional member of the Board of Directors shall nominate a maximum of twelve (12) Ambassadors, which require confirmation by the Board of Directors. Among the Ambassadors confirmed for each region shall include four individuals, among whom shall be one (1) young professional under the age of 35, one (1) independent hotelier, and two (2) women. In each AAHOA region contained in a single state, each metro area (as defined by the U.S. Census Bureau) shall be represented by an Ambassador who resides in such area. In each AAHOA region which includes multiple states, each state shall be represented by an Ambassador who resides in such state.
