Round Rock Area Arts Council (dba Round Rock Arts) is very excited to present the 8th Annual Round Rock Chalk Walk and Arts Festival at Centennial Plaza at Brown Street and W. Bagdad near the Baca Center in downtown Round Rock,

This Festival will offer a wide range of art, performance and music! The Festival will hold artist’s demonstrations, a chalk art contest, have three music/performance stages, food, art and other vendors, and other activities throughout the weekend. Last year's event brought over 33,000 people and raised over $380,000 in economic impact to Round Rock! Lets do it again!

Call for Community Stage Musicians & Performers

Application Form
Round Rock Arts Council is seeking applications from musicians & performance arts to perform at this signature event on the Community Stage.

Application deadline September 22nd or until a full is complete.

This is a free event that is open to the public and will be publicized in many media channels. We are expecting 35,000+ visitors for this event.

Since this is a non-profit free event, we are asking for musicians to donate their time in exchange for the promotion that day and on printed materials. Each band/musician/performers will be able to promote from stage and interact with the public after.

COMMUNITY STAGE
This stage is open to professional and community group performers from a variety of arts disciplines
Location will be in Centennial Plaza
Set’s are up to 30 min- 1 hour total for all setup/tear down and performance.
Time slots start at 10 am end last set is at 5 pm (Saturday Only) (send preferred times with application)
A small vocal set up will be available (microphones, small mixer, and speakers)

Each set will start at the top of the hour. Performers will be switching out in a 15-20 min time frame before the next set.

Conditions of Participation IN CONSIDERATION OF BEING ALLOWED TO ENTER THE FESTIVAL AS AN ARTIST WHICH IS A BENEFIT TO ME I HEREBY AGREE WITH ROUND ROCK ARTS COUNCIL (“Organizer”) as follows: I understand that the music I create must be suitable for family public viewing (no offensive, violent, or sexually explicit graphics, words, racist or political or religious statements are allowed). The Organizer reserves the right to deem any subject matter as inappropriate for this all-ages family event. I acknowledge that the Organizer may, for its own benefit and the benefit of its associates, sponsors and assigns, photography and use photos or reproductions of the music or art at the Festival in any manner (including but not limited to promotion, marketing and merchandising) in all media and for all goods in all territories for the life of copyright and that the Artist hereby grants a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to the Organizer for the rights to use such photos or reproductions of the images taken and acknowledges the Artist has no right to compensation for such uses. Further the Artist consents to the Moral Rights of the Artist in the Artist’s work at the Festival being used by the Organizer in such uses including adaptation and editing of the said Artist’s artwork I warrant to the Organizer that my artwork at the Festival shall not infringe the rights of any third party. I understand that if I do not comply with these Festival rules and all safety rules set down by the Organizer, it may result in my removal from the Festival altogether. Without any right to a refund of the fee paid by me The organizer reserves the right to make changes to the Festival and/or cancel the Festival without any refund of the fee paid by me or other compensation being payable to me I understand that once my time/date is confirmed I am responsible for providing music for that time frame.
