2019 BSA Foundation Auction Artwork Submission Form
The BSA Foundation is thrilled to announce its first annual Architecture Auction. Held at BSA Space, the Architecture Auction is a chance to support the BSA Foundation and showcase sketches, watercolors, photographs, and other architectural renderings to hundreds of architecture and design professionals and enthusiasts. The proceeds from the Auction and cocktail party will support the BSA Foundation’s mission to build a better Boston.

BSA Foundation Architecture Auction 2019!
Thursday, March 14, 2019.
5:30-9pm

Tickets go on sale January 1, 2019.
Silent Auction runs from 5:30-8:30 pm.
Live auction beings at 7:30 pm.

o Digital submissions will be accepted online until December 14, 2018.
o Artists may submit up to three (3) items for consideration by the jury.
o Submissions should consist of architectural renderings/sketches/drawings/watercolors/photographs and other images that would fall under the architecture umbrella.
o No blueprints or working documents please.
o The firm/individual submitting work must own the copyright and other intellectual property requirements for the item.
o Renderings of both built, and unbuilt projects are welcome.
o Items must not exceed 36 inches in height or width.
o While not mandatory, framed artwork is preferred.
o Suggested monetary value for each item should be proposed in the submission. Items selected by the jury without a suggested monetary value will be assigned one by the jury. Jury decisions regarding monetary value are final.
o Submissions will be reviewed by a jury consisting of architects, curators, and scholars.
o All participants will be notified of the jury’s decision by January 25, 2019.
o Accepted work can be used by the BSA Foundation in either the Live or Silent Auction as decided upon by the jury.
o Once accepted, all work becomes a gift to the BSA Foundation.
o Jury decisions are final.
o Accepted artists/firms will receive 2 free tickets ($300 value) to the Auction.
o Accepted work should be hand delivered in person or via a professional shipping company to the BSA between February 4 and February 22, 2019. More details will be sent with the notification of accepted artwork.
o All artists will be notified of the sale of their work by March 29, 2019. In the unfortunate case your item does not sell, you may pick it up from BSA Space after March 29, 2019.
