GCUFF Film Fest Volunteer Application

Lend a hand to the 2018 7th Annual Greater Cleveland Urban Film Festival and we’ll put a movie ticket in your other one. GCUFF takes place Sept. 20-28.

GCUFF’s success is due in large part to our volunteers. If you are at least 18 years of age, you can:

Ensure festival-goers have an enjoyable film experience
Put your skills to good use and learn new ones
Meet and mingle with others in the cultural arts community

To volunteer, complete the following form here. We will do our best to match you with opportunities in your primary areas of interest, but cannot guarantee any position. We will contact you as opportunities become available. If you are unable to volunteer, please consider purchasing a ticket for one of our exciting movies and/or other film festival events.

GCUFF Volunteer Policies

As a volunteer of this organization, I understand that I may have access to confidential information, both verbal and written, relating to film makers, films, passwords, judging procedures, and financial information all associated with the Greater Cleveland Urban Film Festival .

I understand, and agree, that all such information is to be treated confidentially and discussed only within the boundaries of my volunteer position at this organization. I also agree not to discuss these same matters after I have left my volunteer position at this organization. I further understand that breach of this agreement shall constitute grounds for and may result in termination of my volunteer status with this organization.

As a volunteer of the Greater Cleveland Urban Film Festival, I understand that I am not an employee and that I will not receive any compensation for the donation of my time and work performed for the event. I hereby acknowledge that my services shall be rendered solely on a volunteer basis. Furthermore, I understand that the Greater Cleveland Urban Film Festival does not cover me by any insurance such as worker’s compensation, etc. in the event of illness or injury.

If I am in a volunteer position to post information about Greater Cleveland Urban Film Festival on social media sites, I also agree to adhere to the follow social media policy
1. Observe principles of integrity, professionalism, privacy, and impartiality when posting online.
2. Avoid posting questionable content unless verified with credible sources. The authenticity of post is important.
3. Do not post dishonorable content such as racial, ethnic, sexual, religious, and physical disability slurs.
