Riverhouse Barn Virtual Choir
In these uncertain times for everyone we have set up a community project that will bring everyone together in a fun and engaging way via weekly singing sessions with the possibility of putting in extra practice as well from home.

Our weekly fun choir sessions will take place on Thursdays at 11am - 12pm in the comfort of your own home. It is open for all ages and will be taught in a way so there are no boundaries like having to read music. We will start off by focusing on two songs - a special arrangement of Up, Up and Away and one other surprise song.

You will need to have downloaded Zoom on to your computer/tablet or phone device and have a webcam/camera + microphone. Zoom can be found here: www.zoom.us. Once you have signed up for the project you will then get an invite to attend the weekly sessions.

Our very own virtual choir will be led by local choral animateur Jonathan Kilhams and accompanied by the virtuosic local pianist Gareth Giles. To find out more about what Jonathan does and his reputation then please visit his website: www.jonathankilhams.com.

All the details for the project will also be on our website so you can access this at any time. Teaching resources will be sent round to everyone via email on completing this form.

At the end of the project there is going to be the opportunity to record all our voices at home and through the wonders of technology put it all together in a virtual choir performance. More details on this will follow.
