Weekend School: Sunday, 10:00 AM – 1:30 PM

Courses for Weekend School:
a. Quran reading: with Tajweed and Fluency of 30th Para.
b. Quran Memorization
c. Islamic Studies: textbooks and workbooks should be purchased for the year.

In an effort to better the quality of education here at Islamic Society of Annapolis, we will be implementing the following guidelines. We request the parents to adhere to these guidelines to help us achieve our goal.

1. Class size will be maintained at 20 students per teacher. Once we have filled those spaces, new students will be added to the waiting list.
2. Drop off time is 9:50-10:00 am, and Pick up time is 1:30 PM. Parents should pick up their students on time. Failure to pick up students on time is an additional fee.
3. Cooperation and communication with Homeroom teachers for students classwork, homework and assignments are also mandatory.
4. Parent- Teacher conferences are MANDATORY for parents to attend.
5. Minimum age for enrollment is four years old.
6. We have a zero tolerance policy for disruptive, non-cooperative , and disobedient students. They will be given one warning, and if the behavior persists, the parents will be required to accompany the students in class for a period determined by the teacher.
7. Students must oblige to dress code while in the masjid. Any violation of the rules will result in loss of placement in Weekend School.
8. Attendance, and punctuality will be strictly enforced. All students must be present for the entire duration of the class. Any unexcused absence, or late arrivals will be recorded; following three instances, a course of action will be determined by the teacher (including possible suspension).
9. We request parents to be very punctual in paying the children’s fees. Please ensure that the fees are paid within the first week of each month. Failure to pay fees more than 3 months will result in a loss of placement in Weekend School.

NOTE: Please follow the annual calendar for any closings, events and important dates. If there are any changes made to the calendar, we will contact parents via email. So please make sure that you have put the correct email which is checked daily.
