Future Camps Survey
The new Victorian Government Schools Agreement (VGSA) directs that teachers and support staff must be paid for any time spent 'on-duty', outside-school-hours. Whilst we celebrate this step towards recognising the additional workload teachers and support staff take on, there will be a flow-on effect that we must manage. Parents and carers will notice this most in relation to school camps, which will (starting next year) require families to pay for the extended work hours, where this time was previously donated by teachers and aides.
