Loudoun Hunt Pony Club, founded in 1958, is one of the oldest in the country and has an active membership of around 30 young horse enthusiasts. Based in Leesburg, Virginia, Loudoun Hunt Pony Club is a member of the Virginia Region Pony Clubs and the United States Pony Clubs (USPC), Inc. USPC is an educational organization for youth that teaches riding, mounted sports, and the care of horses and ponies, thereby developing responsibility, sportsmanship, moral judgment, leadership and self-confidence.

PARENT SPONSOR - Volunteers are the heart of Pony Club and help with many tasks that deliver quality instruction, encourage teamwork  and serve the organization. The family parent or guardian is considered the adult volunteer for the child member. No horse knowledge or experience is required for many volunteer positions. Member supporters, parents, and sponsors play a critical role in the experience that each child has within Pony Club. Without the participation of the parent sponsor, LHPC cannot exist. It is important that parents understand the club's expectation of their commitment for specific LHPC activities. *

Why do you want to join Pony Club? *
RIDING EXPERIENCE - Members must be able to walk, trot, steer & stop their pony/horse in able to participate in riding activities. Please describe the member's current riding ability. *
TRAINER INFO: If you are working with a Trainer, please explain activity and share your Trainer's name & Barn Name. *
SHOW EXPERIENCE: Please share your current show/eventing experience. *
If you own/lease a pony/horse, please tell us about it. Name, breed, size, age and any other pertinent information. NOTE: USPC (United States Pony Club) requires mounts to be at least 5 years old. Stallions are not permitted for use in Pony Club activities.Mounts must be serviceably sound, in good overall health and in condition for the activity in question.  Mounts must be appropriate for the rating level of the rider and must be at a level of training to participate safely in the activity. Prior to attending a mounted activity, rider & mount will be evaluated by a LHPC instructor for suitability. *
If you do NOT own a horse, please complete this question.                                                                            NOTE:  Ownership of a horse or pony is not required for membership, but members must have access to the use of a pony or horse if they wish to participate in mounted activities. The majority of our members own or lease a mount. Some of our members are fortunate enough to borrow mounts, however it is not advisable to rely on such an arrangement for the long-term.  LHPC does not have mounts to loan or lease. *
