Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated was founded on January 15, 1908, at Howard University in Washington, D.C., by visionary women led by Ethel Hedgemon Lyle, making it the first historically African American sorority. In honor of those extraordinary women and their legacy, this scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate excellence in scholarship, service, and social justice. Please complete all sections accurately.
