We are seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Worker to assist with essential upkeep tasks on a part time basis, as needed, to fill in at our shopping center. In this role, you will be responsible for a range of duties, including minor repairs, cleaning, and general maintenance, ensuring our shopping center remains tidy, functional, and welcoming for visitors.
The ideal candidate is reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to maintaining a high standard of quality in all tasks performed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform small repairs and routine maintenance tasks as needed.
- Handle general cleaning duties to maintain a neat environment both inside and outside the plaza.
- Inspect facilities and report any larger maintenance or safety concerns.
- Confidently and safely operate ladders to access elevated work
areas.
- Properly use and navigate roof hatches as required for rooftop
access and related work.
- Assist with set-up and breakdown for events or seasonal displays.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests or emergencies.
- Ability to follow instructions and report to maintenance supervisor or Plaza manager for issues.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in maintenance or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Professional presentation and positive attitude at all times.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Flexibility to work on an as-needed basis, including evenings or weekends when required.
- Must have a clean drivers license.
- Must be 18 and a U.S citizen.
Additional duties include seasonal tasks such as weed whacking, mowing, spreading ice melt and light
shoveling.
