We join together across Climate Justice organizations in Portland to have a local impact on Earth Day - April 23. How do you want to contribute?

Digital take-overs of every Chase branch in the City will be accomplished by leaving educational reviews en mass for every branch. Google map, Yelp, and many other review sites also let you post photos with your review, so people can also create protest signs at home and take selfies with them to go with their review. Our ST$P-PDX coalition (350PDX, Greenpeace, Sunrise, XR, Raging Grannies, Stop Fracked Gas, PYCC, Columbia River Keepers, etc.) will support people with a toolkit and everything needed to publicize!

What would you like to work on for the AWESOME "Virtual Takeover” of Chase Banks for Earth Day Live - 2020 - April 23? Check as many as you'd like. You'll be contacted by Friday, April 3.

SOON (by 4/3): Create a plan to pitch the action on the national livestream to make it BIGGER than a Portland focus

Create a toolkit to share (social media, phrases, art samples, etc.)

Plan easy step by step instructions for individuals - including creating web page (e.g., actionnetwork) to report the actions taken.

Research where to post (google maps, yelp, yellow pages, etc.) and generate links to make it easy

Be hashtag wizard: Get hashtags from the national for campaigns and actions, also create local hashtags

Work on media plan (traditional and social media) - how to let folks know what's going to happen and what happened

Create branding and graphics (using catchy phrase) to be used on all materials

Prep art creation templates and samples (or work with art teams that will)

Be part of the "absorption team" - plan for after-review "party" or "gathering" with new people engaging in the action and figure out how to follow up with them

Create montage of reviews to be able to post near and far
