Athena Project’s #WomenCrushWednesday campaign presents weekly profiles of outstanding women* artists on our social media platforms – either because they have shared their wonderful work through Athena or because fans of Athena have drawn our attention to them. And this is your space to do so!

Please share your favorite woman* artist with us!

We are particularly keen to highlight women artists who also belong to non-dominat groups - e.g. artists of color, trans and queer artists, artists with disabilities and many more, because we value their unique contributions to the fabric of women's artistry and to Athena. All nominations are welcome and much appreciated.

*Athena Project recognizes that gender and identity are part of a spectrum and can be complex topics. We welcome dialogue and questions. We also wish to create a safer space for the expression and growth of all women, nonbinary, trans, intersex, genderfluid people, and people who are also members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
