Thank you for your interest in joining Gahanna GLOW where 100+ women join forces to make a significant impact in our local community. This is the Membership Commitment Form required of all members. Once you submit this form, you are automatically a member of Gahanna GLOW with all it's privileges and requirements. Meetings occur the 4th Wednesday of January, April, July, and October. You must be a member by the 1st day of the meeting month to vote at that quarterly meeting. We can't wait to welcome you into the GLOW community!

I UNDERSTAND and AGREE that, as a member of Gahanna GLOW, I am making a commitment to:
- Donate at least $100 to the winning Non Profit Organization (NPO) at each of four separate meetings each calendar year
- Donate during the GLOW meeting DIRECTLY TO THE NONPROFIT AS CHOSEN BY MAJORITY VOTE
- Donate even if the winning nonprofit did not receive my vote
- Donate even if I was unable to vote
- Donate even if I am absent from the meeting
If I am unable to attend the quarterly meeting, then I will send a check with an attending member to submit payment on my behalf; or within one week of the meeting I will submit my donation via check or online, as directed by GLOW in its post-meeting email. If absent and I donate electronically, and only if requested, I agree to share the payment receipt with GLOW to confirm my donation.
I understand that I must be present at the meeting to exercise my vote.
I understand that if I have a SIGNIFICANT conscientious objection to the majority-vote-chosen nonprofit, I can appeal, once per year and within 48 hours of the meeting, to the GLOW steering committee for a possible alternative solution.
I understand that membership is a privilege and good standing is required to nominate nonprofits and also to receive a ballot. A first missed donation results in the loss of my vote at the next scheduled meeting. A second missed donation requires that I submit both missed donations to return to good standing, or that I request a hiatus. Otherwise I automatically forfeit membership.
I understand I can discontinue membership for any reason by emailing gahannaglow@gmail.com, prior to the next scheduled meeting, indicating my desire to withdraw.
I acknowledge that photographs and videos taken at GLOW events may include my likeness and may be used in promotional materials and social media posts for, by, and about GLOW.
I understand my personal contact information is strictly confidential, and will not be shared or distributed by GLOW to any outside third party.
