  • ML+X Forum: GPT Chronicles — Exploring Drug Synergy Analysis and Science Communication, 12/12, 12-1pm (Discovery Building + Zoom): The monthly forum event highlights two machine learning (ML) applications followed by communal discussions and project feedback.

  • ML+Coffee, 12/13, 9-11am (Discovery Building): The monthly ML+Coffee social brings together ML practitioners across campus so that we can connect with one another, discuss and work on ML projects, and enjoy some caffeinated refreshments ☕. Attendees are encouraged to bring their laptops and/or any questions about ML.

December's forum will showcase the power of GPT models in (1) research communication and (2) drug synergy analysis. This forum is not just an opportunity to learn but also a platform for meaningful discussions

Finding the Orchard View room: The Orchard View room is located on the 3rd floor of Discovery Building — room 3280. To get to the third floor, take the elevator located next to the Aldo’s Cafe kitchen (see photo). If you cannot attend in-person, we invite you to stream the event via Zoom.

Will you be attending ML+Coffee in the Discovery building (room 1145) on Wednesday, Dec. 13, between 9-11am? At December's coffee, we plan to discuss our plans for developing a new workshop focused on ML/AI explainability, model auditing techniques, fairness, and bias. We welcome you join us to share your ideas and needs related to these topics. *

Attendees are encouraged to bring their laptops and/or any questions about ML. Feel free to show up late and/or leave early if you can't stay for the full two hours.
