StopWaste Anchor Schools Mini-Grant Application

Apply for your school to become and anchor school.

In an effort to amplify our work county-wide, we are looking for at least one school in each school district that we partner with to become the model StopWaste school for their school district and supporting StopWaste waste reduction efforts focused on the food cycle (i.e.food waste reduction and prevention, composting, using compost, students teaching others through community outreach). Anchor Schools are committed to educating students to apply their academics in action-based project learning to stop waste at home, at school, and in their community. Anchor schools commit to planning hours to take action with StopWaste educators and will be given priority for StopWaste educator project support and StopWaste resources.

Anchor Schools require one lead administrator, teacher or club leader to apply as the main liaison.Schools also must have participated in a StopWaste Schools Progrm For at least one year
