Snappy SUPs – Waiver, Assumption of Risk & Hire Agreement


PLEASE READ CAREFULLY


I understand that paddleboarding and open water activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to injury, illness, loss, damage, changing weather and water conditions, collisions, drowning and other risks associated with water-based activities.


By taking part in activities provided by Snappy SUPs / Resilient Collective Ltd, I acknowledge that I am participating voluntarily and entirely at my own risk.


I accept full responsibility for myself and for any children or participants included within my booking or hire agreement.


I confirm that:

  • I am physically fit and medically able to participate.

  • I will follow all instructions given by Snappy SUPs staff at all times.

  • I will wear a buoyancy aid and leash correctly at all times while using the equipment.

  • I will behave responsibly and respectfully towards other water users and members of the public.

  • I am not under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

  • I understand that unsafe behaviour may result in the hire or session being terminated immediately without refund.


Equipment Responsibility


I accept full responsibility for all equipment hired under my booking during the hire period.


I understand that:

  • Hire equipment must not be shared, swapped or overloaded unless authorised directly by Snappy SUPs staff.

  • The named hirer is fully responsible for the safe use and return of the equipment issued under their booking.

  • I may be charged for damage, loss, theft or misuse of equipment during the hire period.

  • I accept responsibility for any incident involving the equipment while under my control.


Dynamic Safety & Conditions


I understand that Snappy SUPs operates a dynamic safety system and continuously monitors weather, water and operating conditions.


Snappy SUPs reserves the right to:

  • Refuse hire or participation

  • Delay launch times

  • Instruct participants to return to the designated operating base

  • Terminate sessions or hire periods

  • Close operations immediately


where conditions, behaviour or safety concerns require it.


All safety decisions made by Snappy SUPs staff are final.


Release of Liability


I acknowledge the inherent risks involved in paddleboarding and water-based activities and agree that Snappy SUPs / Resilient Collective Ltd, including its owners, staff and representatives, shall not be held responsible for injuries, loss or damage arising from participation except where liability cannot legally be excluded under UK law.


I confirm that I have read and fully understood this waiver and agreement and accept these terms voluntarily.

Parent / Guardian Declaration (Under 18s Only)


I confirm that I am the parent or legal guardian of the participant named within this booking.


I have read and understood this agreement and give permission for the participant to take part in activities provided by Snappy SUPs / Resilient Collective Ltd.


I accept responsibility for the participant named under my booking and confirm that they will follow all safety instructions and operational rules given by Snappy SUPs staff.
