Thank you for your desire to be a part of this event. Community participation is fundamental to the festival and also to growing yourself as an individual, thus supporting the sacred balance of life.

There is a deposit of $200 that must be sent via PayPal if approved. The volunteer coordinator will provide you with deposit information upon approval. Upon completion of the required number of hours we will refund the deposit within 4 weeks of the festival close. This deposit is in place to ensure that crew members complete the required number of hours. Sorry, we don’t accept deposits via mail. This deposit is not a ticket.

IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING CANCELLATIONS: The more notice you can give us, the better. We appreciate your consideration, since we’ll need to find someone else to take your place. Any cancellations made after July 15th are not eligible for a deposit refund, except in extenuating circumstances, and at the discretion of Big Dub. For those that cancel after this date, deposits are kept to cover administrative costs associated with last minute changes to hiring and scheduling.

PLEASE NOTE- If you are a volunteer in Main Camp or Hilltop, you will be camping in Hilltop. If you are a volunteer for New Camp, you will be camping in New Camp.

Welcoming Team - The Big Dub Greeters are one of the first people you see when you arrive! They will break down our community fundamentals and some key points that patrons should know prior to entry. Greeters will be required to communicate with groups of people, so make sure that you are comfortable talking to patrons! All greeters must have attended at least 1 Big Dub.

Registration- Registration is the first stop in the Big Dub Festival experience. Registration is where guests come to receive their credentials to enter the festival.

Information Booth- The Information Booth is Big Dub's one stop shop for everything you need to know about the festival. Here, guests can find out about time slots, activities, and any updates necessary on site.

Traffic Control- Assist traffic flow around the mountain! Make sure to have good vibes and reinforce the rules!

Parking - Control assists guests with where to put their vehicles upon arrival!

Sanctuary- Sanctuary provides comfort to those experiencing mental stress during the festival.

Medical / First Aid / EMT- Our EMS team provides medical care to patrons on site who may need it. If you are applying for medical, please be prepared to provide certifications.

Grounds Restoration- The grounds restoration team is responsible for keeping the mountain clean during the festival, and cleaning up post ops.
