*** 𝔽𝕣𝕖𝕖 𝔹𝕣𝕒𝕤𝕤 𝕄𝕦𝕤𝕚𝕔 & 𝕆𝕟𝕝𝕚𝕟𝕖 ℂ𝕙𝕒𝕝𝕝𝕖𝕟𝕘𝕖 *** Let's Get Creative & Musical During COVID-19
In these unprecedented times of a global climate facing lockdown due to COVID-19, our brass band movement has been hit hard with the cancellation of rehearsals, concerts and contests.
I have created a vault of free ensemble music arranged by Simon Kerwin. In this vault there are over 20 ensemble pieces including quartets, quintets, octets, dectets, tuba quartets and quartet pieces for beginner brass.
Any brass musician around the world is welcome to access the music for free, but I want to put some creativity and fun into these times, so I’m challenging you to get performing the music too… but with a twist!
Once you have chosen and downloaded the music (all available as PDF files) I’m encouraging you to create a multitrack, multi frame video. You can do this by yourself, playing all the parts, or you can collaborate with other members of your band or musicians around the world.
How do you do it? Well, you can use any app or video editor programme you fancy, but something like the ‘Acapella from PicPlayPost’ App would work a treat (find it here:
) (you can use this app for free for short videos).
What to do next? Once you’ve downloaded, collaborated, rehearsed and recorded the music, upload your video to the pinned post thread on the Mode for…Publishing Facebook page at
