All Breakout Sessions must be for educational purposes to drive action and to meet the goals of the Textile Sustainability Conference. Each Breakout Session will be planned in collaboration with Textile Exchange staff and potentially additional speakers.
You may assume that Breakout Sessions will be between 1-2 hours in duration, although this may change as we finalize the agenda.
Please note that selling or marketing in any form is not permitted at the Textile Sustainability Conference and is not well-received by attendees.
Though all submissions are interesting and important topics in their own right, we are unfortunately unable to accept every proposal submitted due to a limited amount of time and space at the Conference.
Textile Exchange will review only the Executive Summaries of all submissions to determine which ones are appropriate for the Conference. You have the option to submit additional supporting material via e-mail, however this is not required nor is there a guarantee that it will be considered in the selection process.
Preference will be given to existing Textile Exchange Members.
All speakers who receive an invitation will be required to accept these terms and will be required to meet via conference call with Textile Exchange staff and any other speakers at least two times before the Conference.
Based on review by Textile Exchange, some Breakout Session proposals may be considered for a Plenary Session.
We will send responses to all submissions on or before June 1, 2018, and endeavor to do so well before then.
