Camping At The Ontario County Fair
Camping is a privilege and we hope everyone will have a great week at the Ontario County Fair. Please be mindful of your setting and neighbors. Questions, concerns and issues please notify the fair office. The fairboard and the sheriff reserve the right to ask any persons to leave if they feel they are acting inappropriate or for any reason they deem necessary. The grounds are patrolled at night by over night security.
Camping space must be paid for and a site assigned. Camping permit must be displayed in a visual spot in the front area of the camping unit. All party's camping at the space MUST be registered with the office in the event of an emergency.
All water tanks must be empty upon arrival. All dump/sewer valves must be in the off position and capped. Absolutely no discharging of any water on the ground. No campfires allowed or any open grills.
If you use a "Y" water device, you must use a "backflow valve". Back flow valves must be used on all water devices. If you do not have one you can rent one from the Fair Office for a fee that will be refunded when the valve is returned to the office unharmed.
If the dump station is open it is available for your use. Only extension cords labeled for outside use are allowed. Only one cord per outlet.
Camping space is limited to one sleeping unit. Fair Board reserves the right to double units on space if needed. One vehicle can be parked at the camp site with a parking permit. On grounds vehicle travel during the day is limited to the times set by the fair board. Violators of the parking rules could be subject to being towed at the owners expense. You will need a pass to get in the back gate.
No sleeping in a vehicle is allowed anywhere on the grounds.
If you are traveling with pets all animals must have current rabies certificate and licenses. Pets must be kept at campsite and shall not be a nuisance to others. Management reserves the right to ask pets to leave if deemed necessary.
Camper must be removed and site cleaned by noon on Sunday after the fair. Refrigerator trucks will be parked in designated area and a charge will be levied for electric.
Those leaving Saturday night will leave at the time/route designated by the fair board to help with traffic control.
Rules and regulations are subject to change without notice. Thank you for your cooperation.
