Yale Jewish Learning Fellowship Spring 2021 Application
We are excited to begin accepting applications for the Jewish Learning Fellowship for Spring 2021!

What is JLF, you ask? JLF is a 10-week conversational seminar that invites fellows to deepen their understanding of Judaism on their own terms.

Our topic will be "Life's Big Questions." Questions like, “How do we disagree?” “What do I expect of my friends and family?” And “What do we do when bad things happen to good people?”. The kind of stuff you think about when you’re doing your laundry, but don’t often have time to think about otherwise. And most importantly, we will be thinking about these questions in the context of community.

We make no claims about the “right” way to practice or not to practice Judaism. Our job is to help you explore the tradition in a safe space in conversation with a diverse group of people. That means we’ll ask a lot of big questions here, but we don’t purport to have any of the big answers.

We hope to have two sessions this semester. Students who participate in all 10 weeks of the fellowship will receive a $300 stipend.
