2019 ACS Georgia Education Outreach Minigrants
Thank you for your interest in the American Chemical Society Georgia Local Section education outreach mini grant program. The mini-grants enable activities intended for improving public understanding, appreciation and knowledge of chemistry and the chemical sciences in the greater Atlanta region. We look forward to reviewing your proposal. A committee of local section members will review proposals based on the basis of creativity, coherence and the expected number of people impacted.
A member of the Georgia Local Section is required to sponsor mini grant projects. Sponsorship is non-financial; however, we do ask that sponsors assist in collecting post-project reports and media to support the continuation of the mini grants program. Please email
for assistance in identifying a section sponsor.
A brief summary report highlighting the number of participants and key accomplishments will be required at the conclusion of the activity.
All proposals must be received by May 10, 2019. Successful proposals will be notified no later than ten weeks after the proposal deadline.
