The Center for Evangelical Biblical Theology (CEBT) invites you to participate in the
CEBT Summer Cohort. CEBT is an organization dedicated to
elevating the study and practice of biblical theology among evangelicals for the good of the Church and the glory of God. As part of our mission, we organize a bi-annual cohort to read and discuss books related to the fields of Old Testament theology, New Testament theology, biblical theology, and hermeneutics. A
s always, our cohorts will be led by professors and pastors with an expertise in fields related to biblical theology.
CEBT organizes and hosts two types of cohorts: the Advanced Cohort and the Introductory Cohort. On the one hand, the Advanced Cohort is designed for aspiring scholars; as such, it is best suited for doctoral students and for those who already possess a terminal degree in fields related to biblical theology. Meanwhile, the Introductory Cohort is intended to benefit any evangelical Christian who desires to learn how to read the Bible well. Thus, novices and experts alike are encouraged to participate in the Introductory Cohort.
Most of our cohort groups allow for participation through Zoom; however, some cohort groups will meet exclusively in-person.
The deadline for participation in the Introductory Cohort is May 31, 2026. Meanwhile, registration for the Advanced Cohort will remain open until June 27, 2026. Slots are limited and participation in the cohort will be on a first-come, first-served basis. At a later date, more detailed information regarding the reading schedule and Zoom links will be provided to those who have registered.
Thank you and God bless!
