Project Crystal 2025-2026 Expense Reimbursement Form
Thank you for your interest in Crystal Cove Conservancy’s Project Crystal program!

This form is to help us keep track of the schools that would like to participate in Project Crystal Code field trips this year.

At Crystal Cove Conservancy, we recognize that field trip costs can be a barrier to access for many students and schools. Thanks to philanthropic donations, we offer Crystal Cove Conservancy field trips at no cost to schools. Complete this form for reimbursement for your field trip expenses, including transportation and substitute teacher costs.

By requesting reimbursement for field trip costs, you commit to:
  • Attending a virtual pre-field trip workshop before your program;
  • Facilitating pre- and post-trip student assessments in the classroom;
  • Sending Thank You notes to funders after your program;
  • Submitting final invoices within 60 days of your program or by June 10, 2026 (whichever occurs first)
If more than one teacher from your school will be participating in your field trip date(s), please include the names and emails of the other teachers below so we can reach out regarding field trip logistics and funding requirements.

If you have any questions about field trip logistics or expense reimbursement please contact Chelsea, Crystal Cove Conservancy Education Manager, via email at chelsea@crystalcove.org.

Field Trip Information
Project Crystal involves two field trips to Crystal Cove State Park. We recommend that these field trips are spaced at least one month apart (although many teachers prefer more of a gap, so that they have time to complete the curriculum).

Please note that the maximum group size for one field trip is limited to 65 students. If you have more than 65 fifth grade students participating in the program, you will need to divide your group into two or more visits.
