Community Day at Redwood Vihara - July 18, 2026

Join us for a day of contemplative practice and care for the monastery! We have many service opportunities, especially clearing dry branches and brush around the buildings as part of our fire safety preparations—essential for protecting the sacred space.

Time: 9:00am–3:30pm

Signup Deadline: Thursday, July 16, 2026 (sign up ASAP as spaces are limited and this helps our logistics team plan for the meal)

⚠️ Important: Redwood Vihara address appears in different places on Google Maps and Apple Maps. 

  • Using Google Maps: "16817 Highway 9, Boulder Creek, CA"
  • Using Apple Maps: "Norich Rd, Boulder Creek, CA" 
  • If you are coming from the north, we are after Teilh Road.
  • If you are coming from the south, we are after Seeds of Knowledge Preschool.

Turn onto the small road and drive straight for about half a mile. After crossing a small bridge, you’ll arrive at the house at the end of the road with green trim.

Cell phone service can be quite spotty, so we recommend setting up your GPS before you begin the drive.
