Sign-up form for SWYSA Feva Open Training 2025-26.
SWYSA is running Feva Open Training this year. The aim is that this complements what  the Feva Class Association is running, which is the South West RTG as well as several national training and racing events.

Details of the Class Association's activity are here https://www.rsfeva.org.uk/all-events-2/ .

SWYSA is running 4 weekends, and you can sign up for as many or as few as you would like. Sign-up will close approx 2 weeks before the event.

Dates and venues are:

8-9 November, Paignton Sailing Club
10-11 January, Starcross Yacht Club (TBC)
28 Feb - 1 March,  Venue TBC
18-19 April,  End of Season Regatta Paignton Sailing Club

Costs
These will be a maximum of £75 per person per weekend (ie £150 per boat per weekend).  However they will be run at cost, and so the more boats there are, the cheaper it will become. We reserve the right to cancel an event if not enough boats sign-up to make it viable - if this is the case, all payments will be refunded.

It is our intention that no one should be prevented from sailing due to cost - please contact Peter Solly 07515 285180 in confidence if you would like to discuss possible bursary support.

If you are able to pay more to help keep the costs down for others, that would be much appreciated - please just add it on to the entry fee money that you pay.

If you've got more than one child, please complete this form for each of them.

We may also be able to offer courses for parents / guardians who can help through the season with events. Please tell us here if you might be interested. Costs TBC depending on course and venue, but will be kept to a minimum.

Disclaimer of Liability

Sailors are responsible for their own safety, whether afloat or ashore, and nothing reduces this responsibility. It is for sailors to decide whether their boat is fit to sail in the conditions in which it will find itself. By launching or going to sea sailors confirm the boat is fit for those conditions and they are competent to sail and compete in them. Nothing done by the organisers can reduce the responsibility of the owners and/or sailors, nor will it make the organisers responsible for any loss, damage, death or personal injury, however it may have occurred, as a result of the boat taking part in the event. The organisers encompass everyone helping to run the event. The provision of patrol boats does not relieve owners and sailors of their responsibilities.
