The Santa Barbara Fermentation Festival would not be possible without the dozens of volunteers that contribute their time and expertise at the festival. Having helping hands from our community allows us to raise even more funds for Slow Food Ventura County.

BENEFITS OF VOLUNTEERING:

Volunteer for a 3-hour shift and receive:
- a FREE General Admission ticket to attend the festival [volunteers can upgrade their GA ticket to a Farm-to-Bar ticket on site after they have volunteered for $25].
- a complimentary glass of kombucha from Whalebird Kombucha
- a discount on lunch purchases from our Food Court vendors Autostrada & SOhO

We have many opportunities available based on your skill level and interests. All positions promise a positive experience where you will have the chance to learn, engage and connect with the fermentation community. We invite you to share with us your time and talents to help us in presenting the best festival ever.

Volunteers are needed from 7am-7pm on Sunday. A limited number of volunteers are needed for setup on Saturday

Volunteers are on hand to help out when and where they are needed. You may end up getting pulled from one area and shifted to another, based on changing needs. The key is to be flexible and willing to lend a hand.

Once you complete this form, our Volunteer Coordinator will be in touch.
