Need plants to use with your students in your school garden or classroom? On a seasonal basis, City Schools' Farm to School team distributes seedlings for free to Baltimore City Public School staff who will use the plants for educational purposes. We generally offer giveaways during two periods -- fall and spring (larger give-away in spring).
Our next seedling give-away is scheduled for April 25, 2026, from 10am - 2pm at Great Kids Farm (6601 Baltimore National Pike, Catonsville, MD). Please complete this form if you would like an email reminder prior to upcoming seedling giveaways. Seedlings are distributed first come, first serve and you do not need to fill out this form to pick up plants.
If you would like to receive seedlings at a different time of year, please contact us directly at farms@bcps.k12.md.us to inquire about availability. Responses to this form are not regularly monitored.
