24-25 Memorial PTO Sub-Committee Volunteers

The PTO needs your help to run the committees below:

Committee Descriptions:

Family Fun Committee - Plan family events at Memorial School (parent-child paint night, movie night, trunk or treat, first-grade celebration, etc).

Beautification Committee - Work to improve the school to create an environment that instills pride for students, families and staff.

Fundraising - Plan sales and events to raise money for the playground, student enrichment, field trips, teacher appreciation, etc.

Literacy Night and Read Across America Week - Help plan the K-5 Literacy Night in the fall, and work with the school librarians to coordinate decorations, publicity and events for Read Across America week in March.

Student Assemblies - Research student assemblies/traveling enrichment programs to bring to Memorial and create proposals to present for approval.

Rainbow Run - Work with the town wide PTO to plan the Rainbow Run in the fall of 2024.

Kindergarten T-Shirts - Help design, order, and distribute t-shirts for the class of 2037. (should have a current kindergartener).

School Supply Kits - Work with the town wide PTO to help plan next year's School Supply Kit fundraiser in the Spring of 2025 (should have a current or incoming kindergartener).
