FS Journalism Letter to the Editor
The Free Press is an open forum that accepts letters to the editor and guest writing, which must include the writer’s name. These articles may be edited due to space limitations, libel, or inappropriate content.
Although a writer’s name may be withheld in circumstances that could endanger the writer, the adviser and editor in chief must be aware of the writer's identity. Writers are encouraged to proofread their letters carefully. Letters should be no longer than 300 words.
Letters may be submitted via this form or hand delivered to room 201. There is no way to save your work on this form and come back. To avoid a loss of information it is best to type letter to the editor separately and then copy and paste in to this form.
The opinions expressed in letters to the editor and in guest writings are not necessarily those of the Free Press staff, the Lawrence Free State High School administration, or that of USD 497, Lawrence, Kan.
For more information see Mrs Folsom in rm 201.
