2019 ISR Counselor-in-Training (CIT) Application
Being a CIT At Ingersoll Scout Reservation
At Ingersoll Scout Reservation (ISR) CITs develop and strengthen valuable life skills, including teaching, communication, leadership, problem-solving, public speaking, teamwork & working in small groups, and more. In addition, CITs & other staff share experiences and become very close-knit, which often leads to lifelong friendships. They are a positive role model for campers who look up to them. And although this is a unpaid summer experience, it is also a lot of fun.

CITs set an example of excellence in Scouting including proudly wearing their BSA or Camp uniform and adhering to ISR standards of personal conduct. The principles of the Scout Oath & Law are practiced as a way of life.

Ingersoll Scout Reservation is operated by the W. D. Boyce Council, Boy Scouts of America.
