Please fill out this application to register for the Spark of Hope Foundation Parent and Kids Service Trip.
Date: In Tijuana, Mexico Feb 28 - March 2, 2019 (Feb 7 and 11 are travel days)
TRIP DESCRIPTION: This is a service trip designed parent and their kids aged 12 and up. On this Service Trip we be in Tijuana for 3 days. Day 1 (Wednesday, Feb 27): Travel day. We will cross the border at 5:00 pm and unpack and sleep in our dormitory "Chispa". Day 2 (Thurs, Feb 28): We will work on projects and visit an orphanage. Days 3 & 4 (Fri. & Sat., Mar. 1-2): We will work on projects to improve the living conditions of the people in Tijuana. Day 5 (Sun, Mar 3): Up early to cross the border into the USA.
Registration: January 6, 2019 - January 30, 2019
Cost: $450/person (Covers food, accommodations, entertainment and building materials while in Mexico)
$300/person is due when you register. This deposit is not refundable*.
The remaining $150/person is due on January 30, 2019 and is not refundable*.

Each day will be filled with plentiful Mexican food, lots of hard work and entertainment. We will be staying in our dormitory called "Chispa" which has electricity, beds, bathrooms, showers and parking.
TRAVEL: Travel costs to and from the border are your responsibility. You need to provide your own transportation in Mexico, including auto insurance. Passports are required for anyone over 18 years old. Those 18 and under must have proof of citizenship (copy of birth cert, driver's license, other).
AGE RESTRICTIONS: Children must be at least 12 years old.
No Construction Experience Required: We will teach you everything you need to know. There is plenty of great work for kids and adults both skilled and not yet skilled.
Speaking Spanish is not required but if you do speak Spanish that is bueno.
